Repeat Loops & Pattern Coding Games (Ages 6–10)

Counted Loops, Iterations & Pattern Compression — Repeat blocks • Counted iterations • Pattern recognition • Code compression

About the Repeat Loops & Pattern Coding Games (Ages 6–10) Track

The Loops & Patterns track introduces children to one of the fundamental superpowers of computer programming: iteration and automation. Instead of laboriously entering ten identical commands, students wrap actions in a single repeat loop block.

Children analyze expansive farm grids, climbing trees, and conveyor belts to identify underlying patterns. They learn how to decompose large challenges into repeating algorithmic units, achieving optimal code compression and efficiency.

A transformative learning curve that turns repetitive tasks into engaging puzzles, helping kids view problems like real software architects.
